On December 18 2023, the Minister of Communication and Information has established new regulations regarding Technical Standards for Antenna Telecommunications Equipment in KEPMEN KOMINFO Number 601 of 2023. Hence, antennas now need to obtain type approval certification.
The antenna telecommunications equipment in question is an external antenna, either built-in or using an antenna connector with a cable or wave tube.
