What is WPT (Wireless Power Transmission)?
Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) refers to the technology that enables charging or powering devices wirelessly via electromagnetic fields. Common applications include wireless phone chargers, EV wireless charging, and smart home devices.

Is WPT Certification Mandatory in Indonesia?
Yes. Any WPT device that emits radio frequency (RF) is required to be certified by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (KOMDIGI) under Regulation No. 46 of 2025  Regarding Radio Frequency Spectrum Based on Class Permits and Technical Standards for Wireless Power Transmission. 

WPT Certification Requirements

To comply with Indonesian regulations, WPT devices must meet the following:

1. Technical Documents
   
   • Product specifications
     
   • Block diagram
     
   • User manual
     
2. Lab Test Reports
   
   • Testing must be performed by Kominfo-recognized laboratories.
     
   • Tests include: EMC, RF Emissions, and Electrical Safety.
     
3. Labeling & Compliance
   
   • All products must carry a standard label (usually QR code-based).
     
   • Local language manuals are mandatory.
     
4. Local Representative
   
   • Only registered Indonesian companies can apply for the certificate.
